Startup Community Thuringia at Investor Days

What was going on?

The June Meetup of the Startup Community Thuringia took place in Erfurt this time.
Since many of the members wanted to visit the Investor Days Thüringen anyway to pitch or network themselves, it was easy to combine the two. From 14-15 June 2022, over 500 network partners and founders presented the latest concepts and ideas from the fields of innovation and technology - just the right place for us.

The highlights:

• 20 exciting pitches from start-ups and growth companies from Germany, Sweden and Indonesia on topics ranging from health care to mobility.
  
  
• Lots of exchanges and reunions with long-time companions such as the former Federal Minister of Economics and the current Thuringian Minister of Economics and Science Wolfgang Tiefensee, who also presented the Pitch Awards. Our congratulations go to the winners from Novu Gmbh, Semodia GmbH, Cellgo GmbH, ELONROAD and IDloop GmbH!
  
  
• A great keynote by Christian Wehner (Senior Director Innovation Strategy at SAP) about innovation culture and the skills of the future … and a super pleasant exchange afterwards!
  
  
• Many great conversations with old and new contacts on the topics of start-ups, innovations, cooperations, e-commerce and marketplaces in the outdoor innovation arena.

A big thank you again to Viktoria von Polytives, who not only had the idea, but also organised tickets for the community. And thanks of course to our hosts STIFT Innovation, bm|t and the Thüringer Zentrum für Existenzgründungen und Unternehmertum for organising this great event!

On site, the event continued yesterday with 26 pitches from growth companies and the future conference on medical technology for life science enthusiasts.
